A Career Built on Service and Leadership
McFarlane has worked in every major position within the Miramar Fire Rescue Department. He began as a firefighter and climbed the ladder through roles like Driver Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, and Battalion Chief. Before this appointment, he served as Deputy Fire Chief.
His commitment to public safety and to the city has remained consistent throughout his career. His long-standing service reflects his deep connection to Miramar and its people.
