Rebeca Andrade of Brazil claimed gold with a score of 14.166. U.S. gymnast Simone Biles secured silver, scoring 14.133. Jordan Chiles, also from the U.S., won bronze after a scoring inquiry boosted her from fifth place to the podium.
This historic moment wasn’t just about gymnastics prowess. All three athletes competed to tracks by Beyoncé throughout the Olympics, adding an extra layer of cultural significance to their achievement.
