MyAngel Ross is making waves at Lithia Springs High School. Recently, the senior signed a Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal, becoming the first student-athlete at her school to do so. This achievement is a huge milestone, not just for Ross, but for her entire school, which gathered to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Ross has proven herself as a standout athlete. As a key player on the Lithia Springs High flag football team, she scored seven touchdowns last season while excelling at both safety and wide receiver. Roderick Liptrot, CEO of ACSA, emphasized Ross’s role in paving the way: “She’s opening the door for other students to see what’s possible.”
This new era of NIL deals allows high school students to profit from their athletic abilities while still maintaining their education. However, there are regulations in place. For example, students are prohibited from joining collectives or clubs associated with NIL arrangements, ensuring the focus remains on the athlete’s individual efforts and accomplishments.

Ross is quick to credit the support of her teammates, coaches, and family for her success. “I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped me along the way,” Ross shared.
