“It’s truly amazing to me. It’s almost like I’m still walking in a dream,” Stuart shared.
Her journey to the pulpit has been years in the making. She worked closely with pastors and bishops, gaining experience and waiting for the right moment to take on this responsibility.
Hard Work and Preparation Led to This Moment
While faith has been her foundation, Stuart also put in years of hard work. She studied ministry extensively and continues to learn more to serve her congregation effectively.
“I’m still in school as of today,” she said. “I have to keep getting the knowledge of the Lord to be able to administer to people.”
Her dedication to growth and spiritual leadership shows her commitment to making a lasting impact at Mount Zion Baptist Church.
A Vision for the Future
Now that Stuart has stepped into this historic role, she has a clear mission. She wants to spread the word of God and welcome more people into the church community.
“I’m hoping that I can build this church and bring the people in off the streets that want to serve the Lord,” Stuart said.
Her leadership marks a new chapter for Mount Zion Baptist Church, one that blends history, faith, and fresh energy to inspire the community.
