Career Path and Experience
Oliver has been a prominent figure in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office for nearly 25 years. She began her career as a part-time administrative assistant while completing her criminal justice degree at Alabama State University. This early exposure laid the foundation for her extensive career in law. She later obtained her juris doctorate from Faulkner University in 2003, further enhancing her legal expertise.
Her journey through the ranks included roles such as victim service officer in the Violence Against Women Unit (VAWU) and deputy district attorney, where she prosecuted a variety of cases. She quickly earned a reputation for her commitment to victim advocacy and the pursuit of justice. As a senior prosecutor in the VAWU, Oliver worked diligently to protect vulnerable individuals and hold offenders accountable.
